Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief

Stephanie Kuei is a Master in Public Policy 2017 candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where she is a Co-Chair of the Human Rights Professional Interest Council and the Co-Founder and Managing Editor for the Human Rights Policy Journal. She has experience serving street children and other vulnerable children and youth populations in Bolivia through Kaya Children International and in Ghana through the KaeMe Foundation and the Department of Social Welfare in Ghana. As a fellow with Harvard’s Center for Public Interest Careers, she worked in nonprofit operations and management at Lutheran Social Services of New York, developing and supporting agency policies and procedures for improving efficiency and effectiveness of community programming and service provision in New York City. In summer 2016, Stephanie engaged in research and consulting on the topics of refugees and women’s economic empowerment as a Policy and Advocacy Intern at Mercy Corps and as a Summer Analyst at McColm and Company in Washington DC. Through her studies, she is focused on issues of children’s rights, gender norms, and migration. She is additionally interested in exploring approaches to promoting multi-sector partnerships to solve global social problems. Stephanie holds a B.A. in Sociology and Social Anthropology of Human Rights from Harvard University.
