Matthew holds a B.A. in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Sheffield and an LLM in Human Rights from the University of Edinburgh. He has previously worked with education and women’s rights charities across Europe, Africa, Asia and 19 states of the USA. He is currently working with Interpeace, an NGO based in Geneva, in their Global Engagement Department. Whilst an undergraduate Matthew won the European University Debating Championships and in 2015 represented the United Kingdom on a two-month tour of the USA with the British National Debating Team. Matthew’s particular academic interests include peacebuilding, access to education and minority rights. In his spare time he is a keen skier, a poor guitar player and a dangerous cook.
