Chavis Jones is a proud class of 2013 graduate of Morehouse College with a B.A. in Philosophy from Spartanburg, South Carolina. Upon graduating, Chavis entered Harvard Divinity School, where he focused his studies on religion, politics, and ethics. He was also privileged to be selected as a fellow of the Harvard Graduate School Leadership Institute. He has aspirations of living a life of service and dedication to the enrichment of humanity through an emphasis on the unconditional value of human life and through spreading a message of universal love. Chavis plans on pursuing a law degree as the next formal step in his educational journey. Once completed, he plans on returning to his home state of South Carolina to ultimately use all of his educational and life experiences to advance causes of human rights through civil, spiritual, and ethical means.
